A few months ago I set up a weekly automatic re-start of Windows and
MT4, from the indications in your guide.
When there is an outage of the VPS, Windows and MT4 re-start
automatically also; all is fine, once more
congratulations for your guide.

I am sending you this e-mail because I recently had a different issue:
MT4 crashed by itself
(probably because of an EA) and, when I connected to the VPS, MT4 was
down with open trades out of control.
I manually re-launched MT4 and all was fine.

Would you have any solutions so that MT4 could automatically re-start
after it crashed by itself,
whereas Windows had not crashed (if not Windows and MT4 would have
resumed automatically)?

Sorry for my so late answer: I was very busy and then away for a while.

Many thanks for your explanation below, as well as (and above all) for
your VPS Guide and
its Appendum; this guide contains valuable information, that has enabled
me to set up my
VPS in such a way that now:
- WINDOWS Server 2008 Enterprise on my VPS automatically restarts
after an outage
without entering my login,
- MetaTrader also automatically restarts, after 30 seconds as requested
in start.cmd file,
- once a week (during the weekend) MetaTrader automatically closes
down and then
restarts, so that it keeps running healthy.

Thanks to the information in your VPS Guide, I no longer fear my VPS
outages:

About 1 yr, i try lots of forex robots because of i don't know tech analysis well and also don't have time for it. One month early, I bought Portfolio Expert Advisor from www.forexexpertonline.com . I tried all of these instructions and I still couldn't get it to work on SwVPS. In the end, I ran this program here:

and it worked. I think this is because it inserts a DefaultDomainName entry.

I agree with you that Velocity4X has a lot of bad reviews on Forex Peace Army, but you can reduce them by identify your requirments
